Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the EduSmartz web app and mobile app (together, the “Service”), provided by Edusmartz Softech Solutions(“EduSmartz”, “we”, “us”). By signing in to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

EduSmartz is a school-management platform covering attendance, academics, fees, transport, hostel, library, discipline, and parent/staff communication, made available to a school and its staff, students, and parents/guardians under an agreement between EduSmartz and that school.

• Accounts are not self-registered: they are created and managed by your school’s administrators, who assign your role (administrator, teacher, staff, student, or parent/guardian) and the records you can access.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify your school administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Your access ends when your school administrator removes or deactivates your account (e.g. on leaving the school), or when your school’s agreement with EduSmartz ends.

You agree not to:

• Access or attempt to access data or accounts you are not authorised to view.
• Upload false attendance, marks, or other records, or otherwise misuse the platform to misrepresent school records.
• Share your login credentials with anyone else, or use another person’s account.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or share unlawful content with other users.
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service or its security controls.

As between EduSmartz and a school, the school owns the academic, attendance, fee, and other records it enters into the Service. EduSmartz processes this data to provide the Service and does not claim ownership of it. On request, a school may export its data or have it deleted, subject to any legal retention requirements described in our Privacy Policy.

The EduSmartz name, logo, app design, and underlying software are owned by Edusmartz Softech Solutions. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks or software beyond what is needed to use the Service as intended.

We aim to keep the Service reliably available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service from time to time, including to improve security or comply with the law.

Subscription fees for the Service are governed by the commercial agreement between EduSmartz and the subscribing school, not by individual staff, student, or parent users.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for a school, or for an individual account, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, where required by law, or where a school’s subscription lapses or is not renewed.

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, EduSmartz is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Indian law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kapurthala / Phagwara, Punjab shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, subject to the terms of any separate written agreement between EduSmartz and a school.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
